Meeratales is written and kept by one person with one habit: paying attention. Meet the voice behind the stories.

Meera Vohra

Meera writes about the people, cafés, rivers and lanes of Varanasi and beyond. For years she has walked the old city with a notebook, collecting the kind of stories that never make the news but somehow define a place — the woman at the evening arti, the all-women kitchen in Assi, the chai stall that is really a living room. She believes the ordinary, looked at closely enough, is never ordinary at all.

Writes on: Travel · Culture · People.
